Living Proof has launched Restore, a line of hair care products formulated to moisturize and smooth and protect dry, damaged hair. The line features the company's proprietary Polyfluoroester (INCI: Octafluoropentyl Methacrylate), a molecule that is said to build a protective layer on hair to control hair's moisture. This layer acts like the natural protective layer on virgin hair, and reduces porosity by 100%, according to the company. The line also is said to increase hair's resistance to breakage by up to nine times, while healing, protecting and preventing further damage. The line is formulated with a blend of lightweight conditioning agents to smooth and moisturize hair. Currently, the line provides a shampoo, a conditioner and a mask.
