Skin sagging has been the focus of many recent skin product launches, especially as technologies improve the benefits they can provide. With this result in mind, Cosphatec LLC developed its Neosome EM Ultrafill skin care active (INCI: Water (aqua) (and) Phospholipids (and) Trehalose (and) Betaine (and) Xanthan Gum). The company will highlight this product in the Innovation Zone and the upcoming in-cosmetics North America trade show.

According to the company, the product leverages an advanced delivery system formed by both multi-lamellar liposomal structures and multi-lamellar amorphous structures. Due to the physicochemical structures they form, phospholipids are vectorized by themselves, stabilizing cell membranes and helping epidermal cells to incorporate water.

This arrangement can increase the volume of the skin by improving the amount of free and bonded water in both epidermal and dermal layers. As an osmotic, superficial and biological moisturizer, the ingredient promotes skin hydration and improves barrier function.

The ingredient supports product claims ranging from wrinkle reduction and face contouring, to filling facial folds and lines. The company reports excellent firming and filling results in minutes.
