Ingredient company Stratum Nutrition announced that Health Canada has authorized multiple skin health claims for OVOLUX, the company’s eggshell membrane ingredient.
OVOLUX is derived from upcycled eggshell membrane and is rich in collagen types I, V and X as well as other bioactive compounds. The ingredient can be used in capsules, chews, emulsions, gummies, shakes and several other applications for a beauty-from-within formulation.
According to the company’s press release, regulatory agency Health Canada has approved the following claims:
- Helps to improve skin hydration
- Helps to improve skin elasticity
- Helps to increase skin firmness
- Helps to increase skin firmness
- Helps to support skin health
- Improves and supports skin hydration and elasticity
- Helps to improve and support skin hydration and elasticity
- Helps increase skin elasticity
- Helps augment skin elasticity.
