Arctalis (INCI: Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract) is a marine active that has been shown to protect the skin from aging caused by digital pollution, reducing MMP-1 levels by 53%. Additionally, the active has been shown to increase Desmoglein-3 levels by 7%, favoring the hyper-adhesion of cutaneous cells and thereby increasing epidermal cohesion and barrier function.
