
P2 Science Inc. recently launched CitroComplex Nourish, a combination of natural oils and green chemistry to advance skin and hair care product applications. The addition expands the company’s offerings of sustainable materials for the personal care industry.

CitroComplex Nourish (INCI: Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil (and) bis-Polycitronellyl Succinate (and) Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil (and) Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil (and) Raphanus Sativus (Radish) Seed Extract) incorporates American-grown botanical oils, including meadowfoam seed oil and daikon radish seed extract, valued for their fatty acid content, hydration and sensory properties.
In addition, the ingredient incorporates the company's Citropol DE-4, a high-viscosity polymeric emollient derived from renewable forestry byproducts. According to the company, together, the blend delivers a lightweight consistency with good spreadability and quick absorption. It is suited for facial oils, creams, serums and body care, as well as for use in hair care formulations.

99% Natural and Vegan
CitroComplex Nourish is composed of 99% natural content based on ISO 16128 guidelines and is primarily sourced from North America. It meets vegan requirements, is globally compliant and is expected to be inherently biodegradable, per the company.
