Royal DSM has announced the launch of Parsol DHHB (INCI: Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate), a UVA filter that also contributes to SPF protection. It is compatible with all UVB filters on the market and zinc oxide and iron oxides.

Parsol DHHB offers multi-functional formulating and solubility and is suitable for application in sunscreens, facial care and color cosmetics.
In addition, DSM formulators have designed two sun care formulations that showcase the ingredient:
Daily Brightening Sun Milk SPF 50 — A high UV protection formulation that rebalances uneven skin tone, reduces discoloration and protects against damage from urban pollutants.
Antioxidant Sun Cream SPF 50— With high UV protection and antioxidants to further protect from photo damage, this cream hydrates and strengthens the skin’s natural defenses.
