This invention describes nanometric vesicles similar to liposomes, referred to as hyalurosomes, composed of hyaluronate, phospholipid molecules and at least one active pharmaceutical or cosmetic ingredient.
Said nano-bio-vesicles are reported to have better loading capacities than known systems and a greater ability to “retain” the encapsulated active ingredient within them. In vivo tests showed they were capable of increasing therapeutic or pseudo-therapeutic biological effectiveness.
The nano-bio-vesicles described are versatile and can be used as vehicles of active hydrophilic, lipophilic and amphiphilic agents. Details for their incorporation are described in the patent application.
In vesicles disclosed herein: hyaluronate has a concentration most preferably of 0.1% to 1.0% w/w and the phospholipid has a concentration most preferably of 1% to 15% w/w of vesicular dispersion.
