Sophim's Hydrogenator allows the company to increase and refine its squalane production. Squalane is obtained by first extracting squalene from olives, which is subject to oxidation. As such, this is hydrogenated to produce squalane. With its saturated carbon chain, the resulting squalane demonstrates improved stability in cosmetic formulations.
