[update] FDA April Meeting for June ICCR-14 Meeting Cancelled

850x425-FDA-Meeting

Update: In light of COVID-19 social distancing measures, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cancelled its public meeting planned for April 14, 2020, to solicit input on topics that may be relevant for further discussion at the upcoming ICCR-14 meeting. A new date has not been announced.

The input gathered at this meeting was aimed at helping the agency prepare for the International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation-14 (ICCR-14) meeting, still planned (as of press) to be held from June 8 to June 10, 2020, in Brussels, Belgium. An update to the Federal Register is anticipated.

The ICCR is a voluntary international group of cosmetics regulatory authorities from Brazil, Canada, the European Union, Japan and the United States. The ICCR members work together to promote regulatory alignment in laws, policies, rules, regulations and directives of the respective administrations and governments.

The FDA encourages members of the public to present proposals for future ICCR agenda items and/or data, information or views on pending issues orally or in writing at the public meeting (news dates tbd). Members of the public may attend the meeting either in person or by webcast. Webcast information will be sent to registered participants only.
