Tacky/greasy, chalky sunscreens and a white cast appearance are in contention for top summer skin care pet peeves, alongside sand after swimming.

The feel of a formula can be as significant as the ingredients used to create the finished product. Sunscreens that don't have that tacky, chalky feeling are highly sought after, as many people are sensitive to sensorial experiences.
