Shieh joins as the judging process commences, marking the next key milestone for the awards, which celebrate innovation and excellence in cosmetic and personal care product development.
Shieh brings a wealth of expertise to the panel as the scientific communications associate director and derma science director at the Amorepacific Americas Research & Innovation Center. In this capacity, she is instrumental in translating complex dermatological science into compelling and accessible communication for consumers. Her work involves leading scientific storytelling and content creation for renowned skin care brands such as Laneige, Aestura, Sulwhasoo, Innisfree and Hanyul.
With a strong academic foundation that includes a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington and a master’s degree from the prestigious ISIPCA in France, Shieh possesses a unique blend of scientific knowledge and industry insight. Her professional background is further distinguished by previous roles at global beauty leaders L’Oréal and The Estée Lauder Companies, reinforcing her deep understanding of the cosmetics landscape.
