Diana Smith has been named the global sales director for Micro Powders, Inc.,'s Personal Care division.
Smith is taking over the role after previously serving as the company's director of sales for the Americas. Her new job description includes overseeing the personal care sales program, along with bringing "groundbreaking" products to the market via coordination between the company's marketing and technical departments.

"I am excited about the new challenges I will face as Global Sales Director for Micro Powders. The past several years have given me the knowledge and insight to lead the personal care sales program and to achieve desired business growth. Our company is growing proactively and I am very excited to play a strategic part in that expansion," said Smith in a press release.
Micro Powders' CEO, Deena Strauss Kornblau, added: "Diana has done an outstanding job as Director of Sales. She brings a lot of expertise in managing a sales program and is very hands-on working directly with customers to develop new business possibilities and creating strategic partnerships. We are looking forward to expanding this experience in the global marketplace."

Micro Powders has also appointed Rich Czarnecki as director of business & technology development. Czarnecki has been with Micro Powders for seven years. He most recently served as technical director.
As director of business & technology development, Czarnecki will be responsible for the development and implementation of internal and external programs meant to increase revenue for the organization, including finding new markets and opportunities for the existing product line as well as developing new technologies to grow in existing market segments.
