Olvea announced that all of its specialty vegetable oils for cosmetic use are now COSMOS approved.

Olvea’s natural vegetable oils come from environmentally and consumer-friendly supply chains and are controlled according to a high standard of sustainability.

The COSMOS standard guarantees the company’s vegetable oils are derive via green manufacturing processes and are 100% physically processed agro-ingredients (PPAI). The oils' naturality is thereby optimally preserved, revealing eco-friendly and cosmetic benefits.

PFAS have been used in cosmetics such as nail polish, shaving cream, foundation, lipstick and mascara to make products more durable, spreadable or water-resistant.
