[with list] 100 Novel Entries Break the Innovation Zone Record at In-cosmetics Asia

In-cosmetics Asia, to be held Nov. 5-7, 2024, in Bangkok, will not only play host to some 630+ exhibitors, educational seminars, the new Cosmetic Conference and more, it also will break the record with 100 new and recent innovations highlighted in the Innovation Zone. In comparison, last year's event saw 85. Cosmetics & Toiletries, as media partner to the Innovation Zone (sponsored by Mibelle Biochemistry), got its hands on the full list of entries — provided here for your reference, along with a few highlights selected by the organizer.

Vitamin-based Preservation Plus Care

Sharon Personal Care will showcase Aquavita, the first and only vitamin-based multifunctional preservation system, with niacinamide as its core ingredient. The system is biodegradable, vegan, globally approved and offers broad-spectrum preservation benefits along with proven skin benefits. This supports minimalistic formulations across various categories including skin, hair and baby care.

Color Effects and UV Protection

Sensient Beauty will highlight Natpure Xco Sapphire GB606, a globally compliant extract that features an inherent blue color, and Natpure Xfine Bloom SP320, a pink-colored complex powder that is also globally compliant. Additionally, it will present Covabsorb Nature GP, a 100% naturally derived UV absorber designed to protect color and fragrance.

Strengthening, Enhancing Hair and Scalp

Nanovex Biotech will present Vegan FDS FolliXield, a treatment that stems from research into hair loss. It leverages acetyl tetrapeptide-3 (AT3P) and red clover extract, which reportedly work to strengthen hair roots and enhance scalp health.

Micro-molecular Skin-identical Collagen

Cambrium is set to introduce its first product, NovaColl, reportedly the first micro-molecular skin-identical collagen, designed specifically for highly efficacious skin care formulations. It sets a new standard in skin penetration and compatibility, per the company, featuring a 100% skin-identical sequence and a unique molecular structure. Its ingredients are bio-manufactured through a sustainable, animal-free process that minimizes energy, land and water use.

Ethically Sourced, Nourishing Butter, Soap and Oils

Savannah Fruits Company will showcase its ethically sourced, high-quality organic ingredients including unrefined, refined and high melting-point shea butters; African soap; and organic virgin coconut and baobab oils. Designed to nourish skin, hair and lips, they provide deep hydration, conditioning, regeneration and overall well-being in an authentic manner.

Protective, Whitening Toothpaste

Finally, Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients (T) Ltd. will launch its Sensitive Shield Whitening Toothpaste, a formula reportedly developed using premium ingredients that not only whitens teeth, but offers robust protection against sensitivity.

Progress in Beauty Innovation

Sarah Gibson, event director of in-cosmetics Asia, said, “We understand the impact and importance of the Innovation Zone, which helps the industry to launch ingredients and drive success in the supply chain and market. In-cosmetics Asia 2024 will take place at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC), and co-located with COSMEX — reportedly ASEAN’s most comprehensive exhibition on manufacturing technologies, machinery, packaging and ODM/OEM services for cosmetics, personal care and dietary supplement products.
