Gattefossé announces a major milestone with the successful certification of its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Lufkin, Texas. Opened in July 2024, the facility has achieved ISO9001, EFfCI GMP and EXCiPACT accreditations, underscoring the company's dedication to world-class quality standards for delivering high-quality, sustainable ingredients to the personal care and pharmaceutical sectors.  

Gattefossé Commits to Supply Continuity, Sustainability

Per the company, the plant ensures faster delivery times, increased flexibility and bolstered business continuity, particularly for North American markets. The Lufkin facility also reportedly integrates advanced design principles like gravity-fed flows to minimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact. Built to LEED standards, the plant is said to showcase Gattefossé's commitment to sustainable operations and shorter supply chains.  

Global Expertise, Local Economic Growth

Located in Lufkin’s industrial hub, the 62,000-square-foot facility is projected to match the production capacity of the company’s headquarters in France. The plant has already created 15 local jobs, with plans for up to 30 roles as full-scale operations are achieved. This development reinforces Gattefossé's strategy of combining global expertise with localized production to better serve its markets while contributing to economic growth.
