Crodarom, member of the Croda International Group, has been awarded the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification for cosmetic ingredients by SGS according to the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients (EFfCI).
Certified ISO9001 since March 2013, Crodarom achieved the stringent requirements of the EFfCI’s GMP standard thanks to its constant focus on quality, safety, process development and regular investments. Adhering to these standards guarantees a rigorous approach to Quality Assurance, throughout the manufacturing and distribution processes by implementing best practices.
Although the GMP standard was originally intended for use in Europe, the reputation and acceptance of EFfCI certification among multinational cosmetic companies has led to its international adoption by suppliers.
Croda’s certified sites are located in Europe, Latin America, Asia and North America. Croda achieves EFfCI Certification for all major cosmetic ingredient manufacturing sites globally. This brings the number of Croda certified sites up to 14 and includes all major manufacturing sites globally for the cosmetic industry.
