Wet-out and High Shear in One

The latest addition to Charles Ross and Son's mixer lineup is the model HSM-405SC-25.

This inline high shear rotor/stator mixing system incorporates solid/liquid injection manifold (SLIM) technology. According to the company, unlike conventional eductors, the unique SLIM rotor/stator design generates a powerful vacuum without the need for external pumps, pulling powders directly into the mix chamber and promoting instantaneous wet-out under high shear conditions.This inline high shear rotor/stator mixing system incorporates solid/liquid injection manifold (SLIM) technology. Mounted on a multipurpose skid with load cells, actuated valves and level switches, the mixer recirculates into a 400-gallon jacketed tank and is controlled from a 15” industrial PC on Windows software.
