Clariant received Henkel’s 2017 Best Innovation Contributor Beauty Care Award, the former announced.
The award recognizes Perlogen SF 3000 (INCI: Water (aqua) (and) Glycol Distearate (and) Laureth-4 (and) Cocamidopropyl Betaine), Clariant’s liquid pearlizer which has increased “efficiency and sustainability” in Henkel’s production of pearlized shampoos.
Perlogen SF 3000 adds shine to rinse-off products such as shampoos. Perlogen’s patented production process utilizes a low-energy blending process that reduces its overall carbon footprint significantly.
“We are delighted that with Perlogen SF 3000, Henkel can take advantage of a highly innovative pearlizer,” said Christian Vang, Clariant’s head of business unit industrial and consumer specialties. “Our collaboration with Henkel leads to consumer products with a brilliant shine and a strong sustainability contribution.”
