"I am excited about the new challenges I will face as Global Sales Director for Micro Powders. The past several years have given me the knowledge and insight to lead the personal care sales program and to achieve desired business growth. Our company is growing proactively and I am very excited to play a strategic part in that expansion," said Smith in a press release.

Micro Powders' CEO, Deena Strauss Kornblau, added: "Diana has done an outstanding job as Director of Sales. She brings a lot of expertise in managing a sales program and is very hands-on working directly with customers to develop new business possibilities and creating strategic partnerships. We are looking forward to expanding this experience in the global marketplace."

Update:

Micro Powders has also appointed Rich Czarnecki as director of business & technology development. Czarnecki has been with Micro Powders for seven years. He most recently served as technical director.
