Specialty chemicals and ingredients distributor Maroon Group LLC has announced the appointment of Scott Simmons to the role of director of regulatory affairs.
Simmons brings an extensive background in the chemical industry to the role, most recently as manager, product compliance, Americas for Lubrizol Corp. He has chemical knowledge and regulatory experience with industrial, food and care products and end markets, and has been involved with the integration of various acquisitions.
In his new position, Simmons will coordinate all cohesive corporate regulatory activities.
