Bio-Oil, a skin care oil designed to help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone, has announced a distribution partnership with Kao USA Inc.
Kao USA Inc. will be the brand’s exclusive distributor in the U.S. Bio-Oil’s formulation includes PurCellin Oil; inspired by the preen gland oil of ducks, it serves as the delivery system ensuring the vitamins and plant extracts in the formulation are easily absorbed. It gives Bio-Oil a reportedly light, nongreasy texture and maximizes the efficacy of ingredients. Based out of Cape Town, South Africa, the brand is owned by Union Swiss (Pty) Ltd.
