BASF Introduces New Technology

BASF AG will present its thermoplastic specialties, polyurethanes and pigments together for the first time international plastics trade fair Fakuma. The trade fair will take place in Friedrichshafen, Germany, on October 17-21, 2006. According to the company, thermoplastics experts and visitors will have be able to discuss the self-coloring of Ultradur (PBT) and Ultraform (POM), special services for industrial and automotive designers and transparent new packaging materials.

Elastrogan, a BASF subsidiary, will also have polyurethane specialists present to display the latest developments with Elastollan. In addition, the company will demonstrate dyeing engineering plastics.
