Kim Merselis has joined Sabinsa Utah as the new sales manager. Merselis says, “I look forward to growing with Sabinsa and bringing traditional ingredients, backed by science, to the forefront of innovation.”

Her previous experience includes business development manager at Nutrition Business Journal and most recently with Kyowa Hakko as director of customer experience. Darrin Fox has been named vice president of operations, Sabinsa Utah. Fox has mopre than 30 years of experience in production operations, including a previous stint at Sabinsa’s Utah manufacturing facility as plant manager for 3 years. His forte is listening to people while building a team culture and finding ways to improve processes and procedures.

Fox says, “I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a team and a company that share the same values that I have. Melissa Beddoes, who joined Sabinsa in 2002, has been promoted to operations manager of Sabinsa Utah. Beddoes has inventory management and warehouse operations experience, and she has worked closely with the quality, manufacturing and regulatory departments. Melissa holds an associate’s degree in science from Snow College.

“One of significant highlights of my career has been the collaboration with the programming team to help develop and enhance the operating system database, streamlining processes and improving overall efficiency, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue fine-tuning our efficiency,” Melissa said.

Jeanette Fisher, RDN joined Sabinsa Utah as marketing director. Jeanette has experience in marketing, sales, nutrition, customer service, regulatory affairs, QA compliance, purchasing, and R&D.

In her previous role with Soft Gel Technologies, over nearly 20 years she held the positions of national education manager, marketing director, and finally director of sales and marketing for over 20 years.

Jeanette has experience in multiple facets of the nutraceuticals industry, including as a dietitian, in public health research and communications, with an independent nutrition store, and, for Leiner Health Products, in corporate account management. She has a BS in nutrition science from California Polytechnic State University, SLO, and is a registered dietitian.

Tatiana Tetereva will serve the commonwealth of independent states (CIS) countries.

A native of Moscow and a dual citizen of the UK and Russia, Tatiana earned a BA in business studies from Southampton University in the UK. Tatiana began her career in export sales, gaining experience at IBM, Twinings, Dentsply, Nelsons, and Pharmacare. Her expertise spans sales planning and budgeting, international sales, distributor management, marketing, e-commerce, logistics, and product registration, working both independently and in small teams. In 2018 Tatiana returned to Russia, where she has been instrumental in developing businesses in the cosmetics and food supplement industries.

Satomy Arenas Kami, pharmacist, is joining Sabinsa Brazil as commercial & technical sales. She has research experience in phytochemical analysis of natural products, including a masters in pharmaceutical science. Kami’s previous role was technical leader where she advocated for pharmaceutical assistance in patient care and health promotion through the application of evidence-based medicine.

Camila Correa Cugnier Machado, pharmacist, will be the new quality analyst for Sabinsa Brazil. Machada brings research experience in Brazilian fruit biodiversity, exploring topics relevant to health and nutrition. She served as an advisory member in partnerships and marketing for Junior´s Pharmacy Company and the Academic Pharmacy Journey, where she contributed to the development of projects and strategies and strengthened the ties between the college and the professional industry.

Her contributions to Sabinsa’s operations in Brazil will include quality assurance and compliance with Brazilian regulatory requirements, in addition to offering technical support to customers.

K Srinivasa Reddy is the new Sami-Sabinsa group director of quality and regulatory. Srinivasa will drive the quality initiatives across the organization and its subsidiaries, including oversight of quality control, quality assurance, microbiology, clinical trials, and regulatory compliance for formulation and ingredients. He is based at the Sami-Sabinsa Group corporate office in Bangalore, India.

Srinivasa earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from Bundelkhand University and has over 21 years of industry experience. Prior to re-joining the Sami-Sabinsa Group, he was the director of quality at Omni Active Health Care Technologies. Other professional experience includes Vimta Life Sciences - Preclinical Facility, Piramal Life Sciences, Apotex Research India Pvt Ltd, GVK Biosciences, and Aurobindo Pharma Research Centre.

He is an active member of professional organizations including the drug information association and the society of quality assurance.
