Blood orange oil (FEMA# 2825, CAS# 8008-57-9) is produced using the Citrus x sinensis ‘Blood Orange’ fruit, which is endemic to southern Italy. The oil is bursting with vibrant sweetness, possessing an intensely fruity and “pulpy” aroma that is exceptionally appealing. Its drydown is light and refreshing, with a slight tart and aldehydic tinge.
