Et-VC (INCI: 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) is a multifunctional vitamin C-derivative with whitening, antioxidant, free radical-scavenging, collagen-boosting and hyaluronic acid-synthesizing properties. Recent studies have shown it can effectively inhibit reactive oxygen species (ROS) and cytokines induced by UV and blue light as well as different pollutants.
