"Our Moonshine effect pigments are based on a borosilicate substrate," explains Afshan Nayyir-Mazhir, Lead Applications Scientist at Croda. "This gives superior color, purity, gloss and effects."
Nayyir added that pigments are no longer reserved for color cosmetic formulas. They are also making appearances in bath, hair and sun products, too.
Here, she demonstrates a mermaid jelly formulation for mild, effective cleansing plus benefits to smooth and reinforce hair. The added color travel blue, green and gold adds a holographic sparkle.
