This pressed powder eyeshadow consists of a carrier (filler), colorants, texture modifiers (or specialty fillers), and binders (to compact the product into a breakage-resistant cake). The formulation base is typical of many current pressed powder formulations. Products designed for darker skin require less opacity and more intense color. Therefore, lower levels of bismuth oxychloride and talc, and higher levels of the iron oxides and pearlescent pigment are used in this eyeshadow for darker skin tones.
