A new technology leverages detachable microneedles to deliver hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers to the superficial skin, what Mineed Technology declares "a paradigm shift in skin rejuvenation." This breakthrough will be the subject of a short-form briefing during Beauty Accelerate's Los Angeles debut.
According to Mineed Technology, studies have proven that hyaluronic acids, particularly larger-sized molecules, can remain in tissue for longer periods, not only instantly producing volume but also promoting cell proliferation.
Embedding these larger molecules is technically challenging, however, and requires a dermatologist with exceptional expertise.
In response, Mineed Technology has developed detachable microneedles (DMNs) that can enable the rapid self-administration of HA filler into the skin in 30 seconds.
The company's in vivo experiments reportedly revealed that the administration of large-size HA into the superficial skin resulted in a substantial increase in both collagen deposition and the proliferation of skin cells down into the dermis.
The outcomes observed in human volunteers were also optimistic, per Mineed Technology.
