The Secrets of Caledonia has introduced its Soapberry Extract (INCI: Sapindus Mukorossi Extract)—a natural foaming agent that can ostensibly be used to create a lather in shampoos, soaps and cleansing products that exclude other skin-irritating surfactants.
The foam produced by the ingredient is powered by soapberries, which are high in saponins, a natural surfactant.
According to the company, it also offers skin protection benefits and is suitable for use on sensitive skin.
