Sun Chemical has debuted its "simple and subtle" product concept with its diamond liquid eyeshadow, pearl pink makeup setting spray and maple red lip mud.

The maple red lip mud offers clay and mud-like texture as well as delivers a matte and satin finish. Compared with lip gloss, lip mud has a thicker, mud-like texture with a velvety visual effect. To achieve this effect, the formulation highlights the combined Sun Chemical cosmetic portfolio, drawing on both absorption pigments as well as effects.
The fusion of pigments like SunCROMA Red Iron Oxide (C33-128) (INCI: CI 77491) and effects such as Reflecks MultiDimensions Shifting Sapphire G680D (INCI: Calcium Sodium Borosilicate (and) Silica (and) Titanium Dioxide) enables the combination of matte and sparkling features. The interference color travel effect created with Reflecks MultiDimensions Shifting Sapphire provides a flash of blue and a touch of sparkle, which is enhanced against the deep red background color.
