Praan Naturals has introduced Tagua Seed Powder (INCI: Phytelephas Aequatorialis (Tagua) Seed Powder) as a key ingredient to its natural ingredient portfolio.
Sourced from Ecuador, Praan Naturals Tagua Seed Powder is an environmentally responsible and natural alternative to synthetic exfoliants and whitening agents, per the company. It is produced using 100% pure, ethically harvested tagua seeds. The powder contains no added fillers or other materials.

Also known as vegetable ivory, tagua seeds are prized as a botanical alternative to ivory due to their material strength and ivory-like texture. When ground into a fine powder, tagua seeds make a pure white, plant-based exfoliant that is suited for cleansers and exfoliating products, per the company.
