Empigen BKC 50 (INCI: Benzalkonium Chloride) is an aqueous solution of benzalkonium chloride at ca. 50% in water. It is a cationic surfactant and can be used as: an excipient in drug formulations, a softening agent in textiles or laundry, a dye leveling agent; or an antistatic agent.
