On August 17, 2026, French active ingredient manufacturer Gattefossé announced the launch of a preservative-free version of its flagship lifting bioactive, Gatuline Link n Lift.
Launched in 2017, Gatuline Link n Lift is an active derived from organically cultivated horse chestnut flowers in southern France. The ingredient is extracted using Gattefossé’s Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NaDES) technology. Further, Gatuline Link n Lift is designed specifically for the eye contour area to provide visible lifting and smoothing benefits.
According to the company’s press release, Gatuline Link n Lift targets fibroblast activity while reinforcing the dermal-epidermal junction. Clinical results showed a visible reduction in crow’s feet, under-eye wrinkles and tear troughs.
“The new grade features the same chemical composition and technical specifications as the original version and is designed to deliver equivalent performance in formulations,” the company’s press release states. “It enables formulators to develop preservative-free products while maintaining the expected efficacy and functionality of Gatuline Link n Lift.”
