dsm-firmenich announced the relaunch of its ALPAFLOR range, celebrating 25 years of its Alpine-inspired bioactive. The company hopes that this relaunch will reimagine a new era for skincare defined by efficacy, longevity and environmental resilience.
According to the company’s press release, the key component of the ALPAFLOR line is the adaptive intelligence of Alpine plants. These plants are able to grow through high UV exposure, extreme temperature swings and environmental stress, making them ideal candidates for bioactives.

Extracts sourced for the ALPAFLOR range are cultivated at the optimal altitude to stimulate bioactive production, thus maximizing the concentration of key compounds. Further, the portfolio includes ten clinically-tested bioactives that help skin better adapt to environmental stress and maintain balance.
