Gattefossé Distributes Cellulose Derivative for JRS

Gattefossé has been named the exclusive distributor of the cellulose derivatives of J. Rettenmaier & Söhne GmbH+Co., KG (JRS) to the personal care industry.

The cellulose derivatives reportedly will complement Gattefossé's products for natural skin and hair care. JRS is headquartered in Holzmühle, Germany. Its cellulose derivatives are natural ingredients made from wood and provide formulators natural water phase gelling agents from a renewable origin. These derivatives are also incorporated into the pharmaceutical excipient business.
