To advance green chemistry and sustainable ingredient innovations for beauty and personal care worldwide, Inolex has named Miao Wang as vice president of R&D and commercialization. Wang brings leadership expertise from L’Oréal and Dow Chemical, where she drove high-impact projects and pioneered green science initiatives.

Accomplished Scientist, Strategic Leader

“Miao is a highly accomplished scientist and strategic business leader with a keen ability to bring bold, transformative projects to life,” said Art Knox, president of Inolex.

“She has a talent for building a strong R&D pipeline, from ideation through end-to-end product development, and for creating an innovation roadmap that accelerates speed-to-market.”

Sustainability Focus

Wang’s appointment reportedly strengthens Inolex’s focus on sustainability, strategic partnerships and performance-driven innovation.

“In many ways, ingredient design is an engine that defines sustainable innovation and enables the claims that consumers desire,” noted Jean-Marc Dumontier, head of R&D at Ambi Enterprises.

“Miao approaches collaboration by listening to the customer and bridging opportunities to deliver meaningful advancements in safety, sustainability and performance.”

“It’s an honor to have Miao lead the next phase of sustainable ingredient innovation, and we can’t wait to see the impact of her leadership,” added Knox.
