In the saturated beauty market, this innovation stands out as a winning product, combining potent natural ingredients with the 2022 C&T Allē Award-winning patented flavor technology Velious. This first-of-its-kind supplement reportedly harnesses the power of Calaguala rhizome extract (Polypodium leucotomos) and red orange extract from Sicily, offering comprehensive sun protection. Following a recent clinical study, the formulation was shown to reduce redness 24 hr after UVB exposure and to increase the skin's minimal erythema dose (MED). The company adds that this drinkable supplement is not only effective, but also a “delight to consume.”

10. Galseer Dermagreen, Galaxy Surfactants Ltd.

Galseer DermaGreen is a 100% Green, oil-soluble system comprising N-cocoyl L-proline, polyglyceryl-3 oleate and glyceryl monolaurate. The blend is designed for the preparation of rinse-off cleansers as well as leave-on formulations and acts as a prebiotic for skin microbiota. Per the company, all of the blend’s components are biodegradable, sourced from bio-renewable feedstocks and manufactured by Green chemistry (US Patent 11,771,643 (2023). It is blended (25-50 w/w%) with vegetable oils and oil-soluble actives to create derma-caring compositions for dry, sensitive and highly irritated skin. Per the company, unlike current surfactant systems for shower oils (MIPA-laureth sulfate, alkanolamides and fatty alcohol ethoxylates), Galseer DermaGreen is “free-from toxic and eco-destroying ingredients such as carcinogenic nitrosamines and dioxane.”
