At-home hair color brand Rewind It 10 is expanding to more than 7,000 CVS stores, while Dr. Squatch's female-focused Jukebox brand of handcrafted soap and deodorants is launching into Walmart stores and the retailer's ecommerce platform.
Rewind It 10's CVS Launch
Rewind It 10 will bring its professional-grade hair and beard coloring SKUs to CVS in October 2024, following a 2023 exclusive launch at Sally Beauty and the brand's own direct-to-consumer channel.
The brand features a high-profile founding team, including rapper Fat Joe and Carolyn Aronson and Jeff Aronson (both of It's a 10 Haircare).
The brand has also tapped celebrities such as NFL tight end Travis Kelce, R&B singer/songwriter Tank, model Tyson Beckford, music mogul DJ Khaled, professional MMA fighter Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson, singer Jencarlos Canela and tattoo artist/model/musician Kevin Creekman.
Beyond the previously mentioned channels, Rewind It 10 also sells via Amazon.
"This expansion into CVS, one of the largest retailers in the U.S., is truly a massive milestone for a brand not even at its one-year mark," says Jeff Aronson, co-founder of Rewind It 10. "This retail partnership is one we are incredibly proud to announce and is a testament to the amazing success we've achieved so far. Our mission has always been to redefine men's grooming, making men more confident with their routines. With CVS behind us, we can now reach a wider audience and introduce them to our high-performing formulations."
Jukebox Coming to Walmart
Jukebox's will debut at Walmart with 14 natural, scent-forward SKUs.
- U.S.-manufactured Really, Real Soap, featuring olive oil, castor oil, coconut oil and organic shea butter; some bars have added ingredients such as poppy seeds for natural exfoliation, to be inclusive for all skin types
- Natural deodorants free of aluminum
Scent variants include:
- Watermelon Disco
- Lavender Fields Forever
- Sky Blue Malibu
- Vanilla on Vinyl
- Mango No .5
- Born to Be Wild
- Rose Hips Don't Lie
The brand "encourages them [shoppers] to mix and match scents based on how they're feeling, whether it's getting ready in the morning, taking an evening shower, or preparing for a workout."
Beyond Walmart, Jukebox retails on its own ecommerce platform and at CVS nationwide.
"We are so excited about sharing Jukebox with Walmart shoppers," said Emily Woods, head of Jukebox. "Jukebox is rooted in addressing the unique personal care needs of women without sacrificing any of our key features: naturalness, efficacy and scent. Women, especially moms like me, are increasingly turning to natural and looking to remove the chemical-laden products they are used to seeing in the aisle from their daily routines. We want safe, clean products that are actually effective, from brands we are excited about using. There is an explosion of options for face, but that only represents 3.5% of an adult's skin. Jukebox has the other 96.5% covered, starting with soap and deodorant in a wide range of scents designed for you to mix it up daily. We keep hearing from our girls that their skin feels amazing, and they can't stop sniffing their armpits because they smell so good, so I know we are onto something!"
