Rhodia and KCI have signed a global partnership agreement for marketing KCI’s polymers for conditioning performance in shampoo and shower gel formulations. KCI's Polyquaternium-10 product range will be marketed by Rhodia under the trade name Polycare. KCI will also increase its Korean manufacturing capacity in the beginning of 2009, answering to the growing demand of the global market. According to a press release, this agreement will allow KCI to benefit from Rhodia’s expertise and knowledge of the personal care market, as well as its global tech-support and commercial network.
“With our expanded offer in conditioning, we are now in a position to propose one of the broadest ranges of solutions to conditioning needs and challenges faced by our customers,” said Sébastien Méric, vice president, home & personal care business, Rhodia.
