
Evonik and IMCD announced they have reached an agreement on the distribution of Evonik’s range of sodium and potassium alkoxides in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Nordics, France, Spain, Portugal and The Netherlands.

These products form an important chemical substance category, used in a wide variety of reactions and applications. The alkoxides can be used as both reagents and catalysts in applications and markets including pharma and health care, flavors and additives, and industrial chemical manufacturing.

As of June 1, 2020, IMCD will distribute the materials into industrial and pharmaceutical markets, supporting existing customers and growing the business further. Omega 3 markets are not included in the agreement.
