Hercules Inc. has announced the complete integration of its Pinova product line into its Aqualon business unit. Pinova's wood rosin and polyterpene-based esters will continue to be manufactured in the Brunswick, Georgia facility. The combined business will operate under the Aqualon name.
"Adding Pinova's line of Staybelite esters to Aqualon's complete line of cellulose ethers and guar derivatives means that we can bring a more diversified portfolio to the personal care industry," said Dianne Leipold, global new product leader at Aqualon.
Aqualon is a global manufacturer of cellulose, serving the food, personal care, pharmaceutical, energy, adhesives and coatings markets.
