Derm skin care brand COSRX has announced the launch of Vitamin E Vitalizing Sunscreen SPF 50+, which meets the requirements for broad-spectrum protection. According to the company, it worked closely with dermatologists to develop a brand that addresses every person's skin concerns. The result was this daily sun protector, formulated with chemical-based SPF ingredients paired with vitamin E (tocopherol) to protect all skin types, including sensitive skin.

According to a brand representative, the company's research found that consumers brushed off sunscreen allergies. "Whether you notice it upon initial application, or it only really starts bothering you once the sweat beads start rolling down your face, the discomfort is enough to deter many consumers from wearing sunscreen altogether, although wearing sunscreen is important year-round, even when it is cold and overcast outside. Described as reef-safe, besides broad-spectrum protection, the sunscreen provides a "flawless matte finish" that helps to control sebum. The product is also formulated to provide bare coverage with minimal white cast and features a lightweight texture.
Key ingredients include vitamin E (tocopherol), to protect and strengthen skin; cacao, to fight signs of aging; and cotton (Gossypium Herbaceum) extract, to help alleviate redness.
