Professional-grade skincare brand skinbetter science announced the launch of Ampra Volumizing Macro HA Serum, a hyaluronic acid treatment powered by the brand’s proprietary HYASync technology. The technology, originally developed for regenerative filler, has been adapted into a volumizing serum for consumer use.

According to the company’s press release, the HYASync technology uses a proprietary conjugate of hyaluronic acid that structurally bonds with alpha-lipoic acid. This helps support the stability of hyaluronic acid, improving the effectiveness and slowing the degradation. The Ampra Serum is also formulated with the brand’s wrinkle-smoothing peptide complex, which helps support collagen production to improve firmness elasticity.
In a 12-week consumer perception study with 65 participants, 98% said their skin looked more youthful and 95% said fine lines appeared minimized. Further, the company’s dermatological testing showed an improved appearance of contours by +22% and an improvement in the look of sagging skin by +23%.
