In May 2021, the European Union published EN 16274:2021 a method for testing 57 potentially allergenic fragrance compounds, following the advice of the European Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS).
This analytical method has been developed to quantify the 57 fragrance substances and their relevant isomers at a concentration higher than 0.002% (20 mg/kg) in ready to inject fragrance materials and oils using Gas Chromatography with FID (GC-FID) or with Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) detection. This method allows the screening of complex fragrance mixtures for the presence of these chemically defined allergens. We offer two ready-to-use certified reference material mixtures suitable for use as calibrants for the above-mentioned method.
By filling out the form, you will receive promotion codes that can be used to avail a 30% discount on your purchase of the certified reference mixes for allergenic fragrances 89131 and 16558 (available in 2 ml or 5 ml pack sizes).
