Croda has unveiled Incromine BD (INCI: Behenamidopropyl Dimethylamine), an alternative, quat-free conditioner that delivers anti-frizz and detangling performance and is readily biodegradable, halal certified and cruelty-free.

According to Croda, results from a performance validation study have shown that Incromine BD offers equivalent conditioning and sensory benefits to traditional quats in all attributes for color treated hair.
Per Croda, focus has shifted from only ingredients to taking a closer look at the entire life cycle of a product, from ethical sourcing to manufacturing processes. Incromine BD offers benefits in line with the clean beauty movement that aims to create more eco-friendly and environmentally conscious ingredients.
