In a remarkable scientific milestone, LipoTrue identified a previously unknown marine microorganism, Alteromonas lipotrueae, isolated from the surface of the Mediterranean jellyfish Pelagia noctiluca. Volunteers applied a cream containing 3% of the marine ferment twice daily for 28 days. Results were observed both immediately and over time. After only 10 minutes, significant reductions in wrinkle volume and depth were recorded in crow’s feet and forehead expression lines. Long-term use produced even greater improvements, with wrinkle depth reduced by up to 35% and wrinkle volume by up to 35% in certain facial expressions.
Particularly noteworthy was the ferment’s ability to reduce so-called “hidden wrinkles,” the additional wrinkles that appear during smiling or frowning. Clinical measurements demonstrated a visible reduction in these dynamic wrinkles, helping the skin maintain a smoother appearance even during facial movements.
