Bordeaux-based cosmetic ingredient company Naolys announced the launch of its latest innovation, Firm Perfection (Hibiscus)2, at in-cosmetics Global 2026 in Paris, France. This new biotech ingredient addresses the progressive loss of structural organization in skin, which is linked to inflammaging.
Firm Perfection (Hibiscus)2 combines two complementary hibiscus plant cell strains through Naolys’ Sister Cells technology. According to the company’s press release, Firm Perfection (Hibiscus)2 addresses four key pillars of skin inflammaging:
- Modulating chronic inflammation
- Restoring cellular dialogue
- Rebalancing pathways for regeneration
- Stimulating tissue repair
The company’s in vitro and clinical evaluations demonstrated a 52% reduction in skin amplitude. The ingredient is also plant-based and non-GMO.
