History is filled with natural elements that have been improved upon for the benefit of society. Silicon chips are possible only because of sand. Stronger-than-steel fiber comes from a new process to improve the properties of carbon. Hydrosome H2O is no different. We are making changes to the properties of water no one imagined possible.
Using the science of ultrafine bubbles, we've developed a process to create some of the smallest bubbles ever detected, with one trillion fitting inside of one champaign bubble. Why is this important? Our process allows the delivery of active ingredients to cells without chemicals. This opens new possibilities for utilizing water in ways previously unimagined. We are a platform technology that can be applied to a wide variety of industries and products. Customers using our ultrafine bubble technology have:

How does the innovation work? A common occurrence in water is the formation of bubbles—basically water molecules -- forming a structure that traps gases and other molecules inside. But not all bubbles are created equal. About 30 years ago scientists began to investigate the formation of very tiny bubbles, referred to as ultrafine bubbles. It turns out these bubbles have unique properties and over the last ten years there has been an increasing effort to harness these properties in many beneficial ways. Hydrosome Labs’ unique ultrafine bubbles are excellent transporters to cells. In essence, with this technology, we are improving the power of water, turning it from a filler to a functional ingredient.
Because many pseudo-science claims have been made for a variety of “special” waters over the years, we at Hydrosome Labs are taking the opposite approach, investing in 100s of scientific studies, human trials and collaborations with prestigious institutions like the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois and Cornell University. Our company has spent significant time and resources in R&D, perfecting our technology, and testing applications with our own and outside labs. In 2024 we exited out of “stealth mode”, applying our technology to solve real world problems facing consumers and Fortune 500 companies.
- Consumers have grown tired of chemical- filled beauty products driving a trend towards clean beauty. In our first major deal, we teamed up with Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford for the launch of its latest version of Youth Activating Melon Serum – its most popular product. MB’s chief technology officer called Hydrosomes a major “breakthrough” and touted how its ability to deliver ingredients deeper into the skin, resulting in wrinkle reduction, increased firmness, elasticity, and hydration.
- Producers have multiple challenges with precision fermentation, a process that involves the customization of yeast and/or bacteria to produce specific molecules for use in a wide variety of applications including food, ingredients, biofuels, industrial enzymes, and pharmaceuticals. A study by the University of Illinois with Hydrosome H2O technology, found that our process doubles yields and decreases production time by 25% The bottom-line benefits to the industry include faster fermentations, higher yields, lower energy and nutrient inputs, lower labor costs, higher efficiencies, all with no added chemicals.
- Companies are looking for breakthrough technology that lasts longer on the shelf. Many innovations haven’t cracked the code on this, but products formulated with Hydrosomes last over twenty-four months on shelf vs. less than six months from other ultrafine bubble technologies.
