L’Oréal's Acquisition Cleared

L’Oréal's proposed acquisition of The Body Shop has been cleared by the European Commission. The proposal was made by L’Oréal in March 2006 and involved a reported US$1.5 billion. The commission has reported that the acquisition would not hinder cosmetic competition in Europe and would not demand higher prices for cosmetics in Europe.

The new Tres Leches scent includes fragrance notes of vanilla cake, whipped cream and cinnamon.
