A major trend in the personal care industry is formulating skin care products with UV light absorbers to prevent damage to the skin from the sun's rays. UVA light is particularly harmful because its effects-which can lead to premature aging, wrinkles and skin cancer-are not felt until long after the damage has been inflicted.
